Well hey there Tumblr, how are you? I see time has been good to you since last we spoke. Sorry I kind of dropped off the face of the earth there for a moment. Its been a busy few months, but no excuses. I apologize for the disappearing act.
What have I been up to? Where did I go? Well, I moved to LA and started a company. You can check it out here. We, of course, have a Tumblr as well. So you can check that out here. We’ve been pretty busy; first getting The Glossary up and running, and now keeping up with the work. While we specialize in the book marketing department, we also have been doing a lot of general video production. Editing wedding footage, shooting minor commercials… you name it, we do it. So yeah, we’ve been a little busy!
But I missed you guys, and sometimes I need an outlet of more than just 140 characters. So here’s to the return of The Social Elephant, albeit with some content changes. While this little adventure started as a social media news source, we’re going to be a little bit more free flowing with the subject matter. Meaning, I’m going to talk about whatever the fuck I want. :) (See, I’m swearing already!) Now, as social media and tech still dominate a large portion of my life, I imagine we’ll be talking a lot of social media still.
For example, I had a recent experience with the guys over at Diaspora that I’m dying to share with an audience who’ll actually know what Diaspora is…
But I also watch a lot of sports, play a lot of video games, enjoy a lot of TV and movies, and generally like to complain, so be prepared to be inundated with those things as well. If you don’t want to follow me any more due to the content changes, I understand and will only hold it against you for the rest of my life.
Oh and if you were following me on twitter @socialelephant you can follow me now @socialjerm which is my personal rantings as well. Just in case you can’t get enough. So say hello and introduce yourself. Looking forward to sharing the crazy with you.
